No I haven't disappeared once again. It's just that there always seems to be something more important for me to do. Today I went to this huge garage sale at the Homeschool Building with my mom. It's called a mom-to mom sale. All these women with baby and children items get together and have a sale. It was packed! I was rather hesitant about plunging into the frenzied masses, but my mom just pushed her way through with me following. I found a gently used crib mattress and some really cute baby boy clothes. One of my favorite purchases is a pair of infant tennis shoes. They are adorable! Aaron hasn't seen the shoes yet, but I'm sure he'll roll his eyes. He  just doesn't seem to understand how fun it is to dress a baby. It's so hard to resist spending money on the baby.

Hey Everyone

I was feeling rather nostalgic tonight and thought I would check out my xanga site to see if it was still there. I couldn't believe it still excisted. I was reading through my past blogs, mostly laughing at the things I wrote, but also musing on how fast life changes. Those blogs gave me brief insights into how I been brought to the place I am now in my life. Aaron and I have been married now for 6 months. We've been through alot of changes in only six months. My brother and best friend were married, Aaron and I moved from the apartment, we've had two cars explode and the biggest news: we're having a baby. Life has been a series of never ending changes, but in a good way. Aaron and I have until January to await the birth of our son. (I can't even begin to tell you how odd it is to write that.)

The promised  update... I just got my wedding dress today. After I got off of work today my mom and I went to the bridal shop in Dorr to look at dresses. I was not planning on buying one, I just wanted to get an idea of what was out there. However, I fell in love with the fist one I tried on. So I bought it.  The wedding plans are quickly progressing. Aaron and I want to get as much planning done as possible before he has to go back to school. We have about a week before he starts classes. We have the church and pastor reserved and I have a wedding dress. What more do we need!

Exciting News!

I have some news that I thought warranted a blog. I just can't keep this news to myself. Aaron and I are getting married! He proposed to me last Monday on my birthday. He made me dinner and got me a birthday cake. I pulled it of the box and nearly dropped the knife I was holding. Written across the top of the cake was "Will you marry me?" And in the center of the cake was a diamond ring. I, of course, said "yes." The wedding is set for February 29, 2008.  I can hardly believe I'm getting married. I am so excited. Stay tuned for details...
